At Fine Cabinets, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We strive to provide high-quality kitchen refacing and remodeling services, and we understand that issues may arise. This Refunds and Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges can be made. Please review this policy carefully to ensure you understand your rights and our procedures.

2. Services and Products Covered

This policy applies to:

  • Kitchen refacing services
  • Kitchen remodeling services
  • Any custom kitchen components provided as part of our services (e.g., cabinet doors, hardware, etc.).

Due to the nature of our custom services, returns and refunds differ from traditional product-based businesses. Below are the terms under which refunds and corrections can be requested.

3. Service-Related Refunds
Eligibility for Refunds
  • Non-Start of Project: If you cancel the service before the project has started (i.e., before any materials are ordered or any work begins), you are eligible for a full refund of your deposit.
  • In-Progress Cancellations: If you choose to cancel the service after materials have been ordered but before work begins, a partial refund will be provided, deducting the cost of materials already purchased.
  • Post-Completion Cancellations: Once the project has been completed, refunds are only offered for defects in workmanship or materials (see below for details).

4. Product Returns for Defective Materials

While our kitchen refacing and remodeling services use the highest quality materials, defects can occasionally occur. We accept returns or replacements for products that meet the following conditions:

Eligible Return Conditions
  • Defective Materials: If any materials provided by Fine Cabinets (e.g., cabinet doors, hardware, finishes) are defective, we will replace them at no additional cost to you.
  • Damaged During Installation: If any product is damaged during installation by our team, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
Non-Returnable Products

Due to the custom nature of kitchen refacing and remodeling:

  • Custom-made or personalized items are not eligible for return unless they are defective or damaged.
  • Items that have been installed and are free from defects are not eligible for returns or refunds.
5. Timeframes for Refunds and Returns
  • Cancellation Before Start of Service: Full refunds for services canceled before any materials are ordered or work begins will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request.
  • In-Progress Cancellations: Refunds for cancellations after materials have been ordered will be processed within 21 business days after deducting material costs.
  • Defective Product Returns: If you receive defective materials, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. Replacements will be arranged within 14 business days of the return request.
6. How to Initiate a Return or Refund

If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our service or if you need to request a return or refund, follow the steps below:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at hello@denverkitchenrefacing.com with the subject line “Refund/Return Request.” Include your name, order details, and a description of the issue.
  2. Provide Documentation: For defective products, please provide photos of the defect or damage.
  3. Schedule Evaluation: For service-related refund requests (e.g., workmanship issues), we will schedule a time to inspect the issue and determine the appropriate solution (refund, repair, or replacement).
  4. Return Shipping (if applicable): If defective products need to be returned, we will provide instructions for shipping. Any costs associated with return shipping for defective products will be covered by Fine Cabinets.
  5. Resolution: Once the issue is verified, we will proceed with the appropriate action—refund, repair, or replacement.
7. Fees and Costs
  • Cancellation Fees: For cancellations made after materials have been ordered but before work has begun, you will be responsible for the cost of materials, and that amount will be deducted from your refund.
  • Return Shipping Fees: For defectiveor damaged items, Fine Cabinets will cover the shipping costs for returns or replacements. Non-defective custom items are not eligible for return, as outlined above.
8. Conditions for Workmanship Warranty

Our services come with a one-year warranty on all workmanship. If you encounter any defects in our work (e.g., misaligned cabinetry, improper installation), we will correct the issue free of charge. To make a warranty claim, please contact us at hello@denverkitchenrefacing.com within 12 months of project completion.
